ANTIQUE Victorian Enamel Serpent Ring in 14K Yellow Gold. This unique, mysterious ring is enamelled with red, white, blue and green.

Queen Victoria put serpent jewelry under the fashion spotlight when her husband-to-be, Prince Albert, presented her with a snake engagement ring. Because of this, Victorians associated the snake motif with eternal love.

Excellent vintage condition. Very hard to tell with the naked eye due to the snake skin texture, but minor pieces of enamel are missing on the tail. Don't forget, this ring is about 150 years old! Marked 14K.
